I’m guessing you’re probably here because you’re in need of wedding flowers and might be considering Sweet Afton Floral…but also might want to know more about how this works!

Many couples aren’t sure where to start with flowers and THAT IS OKAY!

You don’t need to have it all figured out!

That’s where I come in! It’s my job to use your wedding vision to help guide you in the direction you would like to go with your flowers! I give you the information, tools, and resources to help determine your wedding flower needs.

Okay! Let’s get down to the details!

First things first, understandably pricing is always the #1 question I’m asked

Pricing flowers is tricky. It varies based on the size of arrangements, flower selection, and flower availability.

It is quite honestly impossible to give a cut and dry price for everyone who inquires. However, because I adore my clients and want you to be fully aware of what to expect, I give average prices on my website and have a handy BUDGET CALCULATOR on my website!

Okay, so you’ve looked over the prices,
here’s what you can expect when you inquire to have Sweet Afton Floral for your day!

 

Step 1

Consultation

An initial in-person meeting or phone call to discuss the needs and details for your wedding. A rough estimate on cost will be given at this time.

 

Step 2

Price Quote

A personalized price quote will be compiled and sent to you within 48 hours.

 

Step 3

Contract

Should you choose to continue with Sweet Afton Floral, a contract and invoice will be sent over for you to read and sign.

 

Step 4

Payment

You can pay the amount due in full up front
OR we offer a payment plan.
Split into 3 payments:
-A nonrefundable deposit of 40% due up front to reserve the date of your wedding. 
-Half of remaining due midway
-Remaining amount due 1 month before wedding date

 

Step 5

We work our magic!

It's smooth sailing for you from this point on. Other than a few emails back an forth (or meetings if you choose), you can relax knowing we will take care of the rest!

FLORAL RECIPE:  

About a month before the wedding, I will compile something called a floral recipe. This is essentially a list of all the arrangements I'm doing for you and the flowers I hope to include in each arrangement. It is a guideline for me to follow and a way for you to see the overall look I have planned. I will send the floral recipe to your email for you to review and approve and revise if needed, or we can meet in person-whichever you prefer.  This will be sent no later than 3 weeks before the event.

Any changes you would like to make to your arrangements (including adding or removing) can only be made up until 3 weeks prior to the wedding

ORDER & DELIVERY:  

I will order flowers approximately 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding and, in most cases, receive their delivery several days before the event.  I get the flowers a few days in advance to allow them to fully bloom and look their best in your arrangements. 

DESIGNING:  

The arrangements are put together a day or two before the event and are kept in a cool fridge to maintain freshness until the day of the event. 

DELIVERY OR PICKUP:  

Per your selection, the arrangements will then be delivered by us or picked up by you.
Delivery is FREE for weddings over $2000!
(up to 150 miles total, additional fees applied to weddings farther)

SETUP:  

Setup is required for arrangements such as: arches, garlands, cakes, and other installation arrangements.
We will make sure enough time is set aside to have your flowers ready and looking beautiful for when your event starts.
